Our Newton family lived in Mahaska County, Iowa. John Newton (cir 1795) born in New York or Canada but can not be confirmed. His wife was Elizabeth (Surname unk). They moved to Ohio and then settled in Iowa. Children were Henry, Sarah A., Mary, Isaac, Jasper, Louisa, Elizabeth, and Samuel. Do any of these names appear in your Newton family?
