    3. Rich, I don't think I have a connection to this person, but I am searching for William George Newton, who lived in Davenport, WA in 1905 - 1920 (approx). He was born in Muscatine Co, IA in 1858 to Perry M. Newton (b. ~1817 PA) and Rebecca Holler. In 1889 he was in Fulton Co, IL, where my grandmother, Nell Newton was born. Could we possibly have a connection? If anyone is connected to this person, I'd like to hear from you. I'm researching my wife's ancestors, which include Newton from Michigan and surrounding area. Thanks, Rich A Memorial service for Jane Hill Newton, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 11 at Rockwood Manor. Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Miss Newton, who was born in Grand Rapids, Mich., died Nov 10. She was a Spokane resident for more than 70 years. Miss Newton graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and received a teaching degree in 1939 from Cheney Normal School. She served as a secretary for the Navy for a year and a half. Miss Newton than taught school for three years in Lacrosse, Wash., and then worked for the Spokane School District. She retired in 1972 from Franklin Elementary School. She was a member of the Washington State, National and Spokane Education associations, and Westminster Congregational Church. Survivors include a brother-in-law, James Christensen of Coeur d"Alene; a sister-in-law, Ruth Newton of Puyallup, Wash., and several nieces and nephews. Rich Aspenleiter 4417 S.
