Is anyone researching any of the Newton's in Georgia and Alabama? I am looking for the father of Willis Newton who married Rutha Bishop. She is the daughter of Stephen Bishop. He lived in Georgia. Rutha must have met Willis in Georgia when he was working on a land survey crew about 1793.
