>Jud, > >I am researching Newtons in Dorchester County, MD. Does Ermina Newton >Leonard's book deal with a variety of Newton lines or only the Massachusetts >line? I think it's primarily the Massachusetts bunch, but it is a big book and I think it does have other lines as well. I must confess I only read the parts that pertained to my line. -- Peace, Jud
Does anyone out there have any information on Newtons who migrated to California prior to 1900? My grandfather, George Fulton Newton, was born in Orange County (Fullerton), California in the late 1800's. He later moved and spent most of his life in San Francisco/Oakland area as an optomotrist. I have been unable to contact any Newton genealogists in California, nor find any information about my grandfather. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Linda M. May [email protected]
