Hi there, This is my husband's Newton family from Wright Co., Missouri. I did a quick search and found a web site that shows your Jasper and Dulcenia. It's accurate back to William Newton and Elizabeth Field Newton, for sure. I didn't check further. Jasper Newton was the brother of my husband's Great Grandfather Henry Garrison Newton, so Hi Cousin-in-law! Another great site to research this family is the Wright Co Mo GenWeb. The 1850 census is on line and a very knowledgeable Wright Co. researcher has written extensive notes about the families shown on the census. The Newton family was one of the first to settle Wright Co. They immigrated from Culpeper Va to Davisess Co, KY to Indiana to Mo and on west. A traveling bunch!
