Our Ebenezer & Elizabeth Buchanan Newton came out of Pennsylvania in 1767 to Mecklenburg County NC and bought land. All of their 7 children were born in Pa. Ebenezer was born around 1725 so from your dates I don't beleive we are from the same Newton's. There are lots of Johns is our family line. They are in almost every family and generation. Sorry.
