I am interested in what areas of Indiana and Kansas your Joseph Newton lived. I am tracing a Joseph Newton who is too old to be this one, but I am still trying to find all of his sons who were born in KY. My Joseph moved from Franklin Co., KY to Shelby Co., IN and then some of his children went on to Neosho Co., KS. I do not yet know the names of his oldest sons, but my guess is that one of them was named Joseph, also. If you can give me more info on what you are researching, maybe, we can make a connection.
