Duncan, S.J. Mrs. Jan 1867 Newton, William H. Lea, Hester Jan 1824 The J.S. Newton is my husband's maternal gr-grandfather. His first wife, Mattie, is not the mother of our grandmother. Madora Ann Finger, his second wife is. We think that William H. Newton who married Lea Hester in 1824 in Hardeman Co. might have been Jeff S. Newton's parents, but I haven't documented that. Hi Linda, I was hoping some Newton family had a daughter named (Rebecca or Nancy) who married a Wm H McBee- I know there was an Ebenezer Newton Family in Hardeman Co., in the 1830 Census.
