Linda, I have a Jeff E. Newton who was born on feb 15 1861 in Calhoun Co,AL. His parents are Isaac Mitchell Newton and Martha Rose Ann Parks. Does this sound close? This is the only info I have on him at this time. We have this documented in her Bible in her handwriting.) Newton in 1902. Mattie also stemmed from an old Hardeman County family who moved from Harrisburg, Kentucky (got this piece of information about Harrisburg, Ky. verbally from a Newton descendent. Cannot verify it yet.) to Saulsbury Tennessee before the Civil War. Her parents were Jeff S. Newton and Madora Ann Finger Newton. Are any of these Newtons in your book? If so, I definitely would be interested in a copy. Linda J. Bryan, This is part of my family, and Isaac and Martha Rose Ann were never in Ky. Jeff was brought to Cooke County, Texas as a young child from Alabama. You will find Jeff on the 1880 census Cooke County, Tx, I have not been able to find him after that. Gay Nix bryan newton <bryannewton2027@yahoo.com> wrote: Linda, I have a Jeff E.
