    3. I have a note about Jabez Newton b. May 1821 Tolland Co., CT? and living in 1900 at San Joaquin Co., CA. Married Mary unknown b. March 1832 VA, alive 1900. The note says he went to CA in 1849. Sadly this note is unattributed, so other then the census of 1900 CA, so I don't know how accurate it is. I have not tried to look for him in earlier censuses. The note connected him to the Newton/Loker family. I'll look further for the note, and see if there is something I missed. (Could this note come from the Newton Genealogy by Leonard?) 1. 2. I am interested in what areas of Indiana and Kansas your Joseph Newton lived. I am tracing a Joseph Newton who is too old to be this one, but I am still trying to find all of his sons who were born in KY. My Joseph moved from Franklin Co., KY to Shelby Co., IN and then some of his children went on to Neosho Co., KS. I do not yet know the names of his oldest sons, but my guess is that one of them was named Joseph, also. If you can give me more info on what you are researching, maybe, we can make a connection. In turn if anyone else would like to do the same, please feel free to do so. As I feel this could well apply to anyone that might have deceased relatives buried at Bridgeton Memorial Park in St. Louis, Missouri. So, if it is permissible on our list, I would like to pass it on. Thanks Marilyn >-------------original message--------------------> "I live in St. Louis, Missouri and saw on the local news tonight that there is a BRIDGETON MEMORIAL PARK - 1843 - 1963 ( North St. Louis) that is looking for persons with family buried there. 3. John, I'm going through my old e-mail's and came across yours. I have nothing more on this family than what I'm sending you. When printed out, the file runs about 9 pages. After gathering this material, I realized that they were not a part of my family, so I quit searching. If Peter1 is related to John of Hull, I have not been able to find the link. If you find anything, please let me know. I think that this material is accurate, but much has not been researched for every fact. Please verify all info. Good luck. Greg Newton Descendants of Peter 1 Newton Generation No. 1 1. PETER 11 NEWTON was born Abt. 1755 in Caroline Co., Virginia1, and died 1823 in Bullitt Co., Kentucky?1. He married MARY (POLLY) CAWEYA. 2. Not any Aussies that I know of. The Charles Newton family, the Witts , the Finchers and the Whiteheads made the trip to Lamar County Texas, and Denton County Texas in 1869, according to my grandmother's letter. They came from around Hot Springs, Arkansas.
