    2. Su, this is no help, but in looking up some info, I ran across a Newton who's children carried the mother's maiden name even though they were married. I got the impression that she was Jewish. Could this be so? Gail

    3. Just found out that the person I thought was my grandfather is not. It seems I have been searching for the wrong George Newton. The new information I now have is that his name was George Fulton Newton. He was an optomotrist/optician in the San Francisco area approximately 1920 to 1950. His first wife (my grandmother, was Jeanne E. Kelley). His second wife I believe was named Esther. If anyone has any information, it would be greatly appreciated. Linda M. May [email protected]

In it he mentions a daughter, Francis Cannon. My question is does anyone know which Cannon it is that Francis married? Edward was from Dorchester Co. MD. Thanks. Kathy

ISAAC NEWTON was born August 21, 1802 in Warren County, New Jersey, USA, and died August 15, 1872 in Ringgold County, Iowa. He married SUSAN BLACKWELL February 07, 1824 in Sussex County, NJ, daughter of ELIJAH BLACKWELL and MARTHA LANNING. Notes for ISAAC NEWTON: According to 1820 census Isaac has a blacksmith business in Blairstown, age 18. According to the 1824 census Isaac Newton marries Susan Blackwell, Hacketstown by Robert Thompson, trustee Prebys. Church.. According to the 1830 census of Belevidere Twnsp. there were: 2 males under 5, John Isaac and Henry Nelson 2 males 20 - 30, Isaac and ? 1 female under 5 - Martha 1 female 20-30, Susan Isaac came to Iowa in 1859 to a town called Platteville, which no longer exists. Isaac Newton is buried north of Blockton, Iowa and west of Maloy ,Iowa in Shay Cemetery. -----

    2. HI ya , I need help, I need info on my ggrandfathers ansisters..His name is : Harold Dean Newton..born june 6th 1856 in Livingston NY. His siblings are Dean and Katherine Newton. He worked in Tool and Die. Ive been searching and I cant find anything...Anyone that has any info, please help..Thanks. P.S.
