The Obituary Depot database is receiving over 5,000 new listings each month thanks to the many volunteers. Volunteers who do the simple task of grabbing their local paper and cataloging the names, ages and dates of those who passed away. We also have some volunteers who catalog obits from archived copies of local papers going back 20, 40 and some over 100 years ago. While this is sounding like a "sales" pitch, it's not.
