By any chance, was MacGregor her married name? I found one that could be her - a female named Edith who was born 10-4-1878 who died in Los Angeles Co, in Covina specifically, in 1964. Let me know and we'll see where we can go from here. Cindy H Cindy, Yes, MacGregor was Edith's married name and Cockayne was her maiden name. This is the first solid nibble I've gotten on grandma. As I've said before, my Dad never asked questions, so what little I know comes from conversations my mother had with Edith who was her mother-in-law. I have Edith's date of death as July 10, 1964.
