Joey had surgery at 11:30 this morning. It took about an hour. They removed infection the diameter of a half dollar from his neck. He's in a semi-private room now. I just got off the phone from talking to him. He sounds so much better. His headache is gone and he can move his neck without too much pain. He's watching television.... which he couldn't do before because of the noise and light..... It's a good thing they operated when they did.... the infection was preparing to seep into his system..... They will check and find out what type of bacteria infection it is for the right antibiotic. He may go home next Monday or Tuesday if his white count comes down.... Thanks for all your prayers.
