Much more on this site than just the Vernon Co, MO info. Spent about an hour on it last night and didn't even scratch the surface, great fun to see all the goodies Jim has posted .. Sally I just finished transcribing the 1890 Veterans Census for Vernon County Missouri and adding it to my web site. The Veterans listed served in units from all over the eastern U.S., but most served in Indiana and Illinois units. Many did not live in Vernon County, but were enumerated there.
