Gloria, the first time I used the family tree maker and it opened the Gedcom I was so upset as I thought it had loaded into my files, then it kept opening into that file. I came here to ask why and how. The folks here got me through it. I would be interested in having a separate file to store them in as I hate having them open with my familytreemaker. This has been interesting to me. And our good folks here once again came through with great help. SEA
