Had never heard that term. We were set on fire many times by the trains and not from hot coals as the trains were running later models by my memory. But I have had to fight many a train fire to save our farm home. We were very grateful when our little town finally got a fire department. They still are fighting these darn train fires every dry season in Kansas. It was a great fear we lived with, if we had to go off and leave no one home to guard against the fires.
