    3. And John, do you agree that these "fancy little tidbits" as I tend to call them, belong on the NOTES page of the ancestral person we enter. Doesn't it add just a bit of nostalgia of those days gone by with that beloved ancestor. I was 17 when this grandmother died and I wanted to climb into the grave with her coffin. I loved her that much, that little 4'9" and just as round as she was tall grandmother of mine. I was named for her, (my dad being an only child), my youngest daughter is Sabrina Antoinette, Sabrina's daughter is Malinda Antoinette and Malinda's little Tori is Victoria Antoinette. I hope to live to see Tori have "Isal Antoinette" (Isal for my mother as this little girl is my mother all over again). Nostalgia at times is great medicine. And what memories it stirs. Thanks for listening to this "elderly" mother, grandmother and great grandmother (and I am proud of being each one). Or can you tell????? <grin> Antoinette waughtel@oz.net ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rathbone" <jrathbon@dreamscape.com> To: <NEWGEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 13, 2000 9:09 AM Subject: Re: [NEWGEN] Recent Unpleasantness > >From John Rathbone at jrathbon@dreamscape.com > > Antoinette's story of her grandmother and explaining thunder reminded me of > back when I was a lad, growing up along the banks of the Hudson River. > There was no reason for me to doubt my grandfather when he assured me it was > just Rip Van Winkle and "the little men" bowling, " 'way up there!"
