    3. Jeri, your question confused me for a while. It was not a critical question that Phyllis was asking. She just wanted to know what area of the county Theresa was asking about. Phyllis was just letting Theresa know what her(Phyllis's) Allens were located in the Brookfield, Mass, area if that was the area Theresa was talking about. I didn't read any tone in the message other than a request for further information. As for the make up of the list, there are some experienced genealogists here and a lot of newbies. We just try to help each other out with questions and requests. Sometimes people don't give enough information so that we know exactly what they want. So we will ask for further amplification so that we can see if we can help. Let's say that I put a message out to the list about George Washington Clevenger and asked for help with his lineage. That isn't very clear because There are George, George W. and George Washington Clevengers throughout a lot of different lines. I would have to specify George Washington Clevenger in the Tennessee and Missouri areas for it to have any effect on someone trying to help me. So I would probably get a request asking what area I was talking about. Hope to see a lot of questions and requests from you. We are all here to help in anyway we can. That goes for computer help to genealogy help, and a lot of things inbetween. LOL Del the Dragon Associate Emeritus IBBSG Proud Rootsweb Sponsor V.P.
