    3. Antoinette I loved your story, and yes I would definitely add these tidbits to this ancestral person. I have many such items added on my ancestors in my notes, I state as to where each "Tidbit" came from, a story told or from some old county history book or whatever, as it adds so much to the family history, not just names and dates, these stories make our ancestors live and lets us know about some of the trials they went through in their life. I recently sent an update of our family history to my son, who immediately emailed me back saying "Wow Mom what a story, send me more on the other relatives." So you see the relatives who really don't have a lot of interest in the family history, really set up and take notice once they start reading all the little stories that accompany any family history, as they start seeming like a real person and not just a name and date. Also, it is so neat that you can keep passing the name on down your family line. and to make sure this story lives and gets passed on down through the generations and how much this ancestor meant to you, I would definitely add it to your notes. Phyllis > And John, do you agree that these "fancy little tidbits" as I tend to call > them, belong on the NOTES page of the ancestral person we enter.
