Dr. Bill, Thank you for standing up for us! When I sent that story, I thought it was worth sending, I also did not mean to start a tizzy here. A few have e-mailed me and Thanked me for sending it. I am glad you liked it as it had a good meaning and the story was interesting. I always put tales and or a story in on my notes. One never knows if they are true. Even if not......they are great for the reader to get an idea of a time or place. One example for me, I was told that I was related to Betsy Ross...I thought."yeah... right..... sure I am, and also related to a King or Queen" After doing research, one of my Holdeman's married her aunt or cousin(would have to check) anyway, the "tale" was true!
