I am kind of new at this so please bear with me. You can laugh at me tho. Lord, knows after trying to find MY family, I can use some laughs.:) I am searching for a Thomas (See, your already grinning-- or groaning). This Thomas may have came into Philadelphia aboard ship from Wales in the 1830"s. I don't know his first name. The only info I have is he had a son Jacob b. 1837, maybe PA, also a son Jasper b. 1847(my gfather). We don't know where they were born. The name Jasper seems to come down thru the family. Know Jasper's wifes name was Nancy J. Cooper b. 1848. Nancy's mother and father were Hugh and Elizabeth (Desper) Cooper. GGma Elizabeth Cooper died in PA in 1903. Her home was in Lebanon, PA. So that is a PA connection. We have an idea (brilliant, huh!) the Coopers, Despers and Thomas may all have a PA connection. There is no way anyone will believe I put this query in here. Seriously , I hope someone can give me a lead. Hopefully not to the looney bin, altho this is driving me there. Thanks for any response. NaDean
