    3. Just to let everyone know I have spent that last two days getting rid of a virus that infected my email program and puter. I was very upset over this as I thought I had my puter covered by virus protection but I guess I wasn't. Since I lost all of my email program and all of the messages I had saved in my mail folders, had to reformat my puter, reinstall some programs and then sit here for almost all of today trying to download InnoculateIT and still haven't been able to because the FTP site is overloaded, I have learned a very hard lessons from this MESS. This is what I won't be doing anymore. One thing I won't be too lazy to do this each and every day Not leave my email online all day when I am not reading my mail. don't stay on the net all day when I am not at the puter surfing. Attachments are going to be thoroughly scanned from now on as that seems to be the way I got this virus This is what my ISP told me yesterday when they were trying to help me. NEVER leave your email online or leave your computer online when you are not at the screen. Disconnect your line. Virus can get you even when you aren't looking and people like all of us send and receive email and we are in too much of a hurry to open that we don't stop and look at what we are opening. MIRC is another big offender for getting viruses. Don't leave yourself open to this chat group. One person can take a dislike to you and infect you. Shut your computer down if you are not using it. I have always left mine on and always have it online and ready to go at a click. NO MORE. I can't afford to replace my equip at someone elses dirty work. Someone wants to get in touch with me they will simply have to wait until I read my mail or phone me. I hope I haven't offended anyone by my attitude over this but I don't want to spend another two hair raising days trying to sort out the mess that this virus caused. Jean Payton
