Shirley - I have several links for privacy issues in two spots on Cyndi's List: Internet Stuff You Need To Know http://www.CyndisList.com/internet.htm Software & Computers http://www.CyndisList.com/software.htm Newer versions of genealogy software program are including the option to leave out "living" people. Check your software to see if it has this option. Otherwise, first you will always need to create a GEDCOM file (generally under File, Export to GEDCOM in most software programs under Windows). Once you have a GEDCOM file created, run it through a utility such as gedliving, GEDPrivy or GEDClean (see links on my site above). After you "clean" out the living people, import the GEDCOM file back *into* your genealogy software program and then generate the reports that you need.
