I have just downloaded a connection to a free spam filtering organization which was recommended by one of the members of my L-O-A-F list. ( http://www.brightmail.com ). I sincerely think you should check this out. Discuss it with your ISP if you feel it is necessary. It works, it catches anywhere from 70 to 100% of all spam (and it has been increasing lately in case you haven't noticed).
