HI Donna, Good to have you back on the list. The SMITH lineage can be very difficult to track. I lucked out with my SMITH line, (mother was a SMITH) they happened to have been Quakers from Bucks county PA, all documented in the church records. I dont know if you have looked in Quaker records in the south, but a lot of the SMITH of Bucks county did move south into Georgia, Carolinas and beyond.
