In addition to Dr. Bill's comments I thought I'd let you know that firewall's are commonly found on business web servers and companies that have their own internal networks. It is a layer of protection they use (and control) to protect themselves because they have a large number of employees and multiple possible entries into their computer network. You don't normally find a firewall on your home computer.
