Ok, I've read the books but how do you get information from out of state WHEN you are unable to go there to those dusty, dirty rooms? I am trying to find out how to find census reports from Alpena, MI. I have read from this list that I should go to my library for this information. However, when I do this they look at me like I have lost it and maybe they should call RUSK.(mental hospital) IF ONLY I would have been smart enough to be doing genealogy when I was younger. I traveled all over. Lived in Lark, UT 30 miles from downtown Salt Lake at one time. Too bad ONLY IF'S don't count for anything.
