I really am so new at this (computer and Genealogy) that I have no idea what I am doing! Maybe that is the reason for people not responding! I am trying to learn how to post to the list, maybe this time I have it. I am researching the Raney line in my family. I know that my Grandmother Cara Elizabeth Raney was born in Hempstead County , Arkansas in 1892. I know her parents names but what I am wondering is : how can I obtain copies of birth records from this time period. Remember I am very new at this , so please make instructions simple.
