    1. [NEWGEN] 've said before.
    2. By any chance, was MacGregor her married name? I found one that could be her - a female named Edith who was born 10-4-1878 who died in Los Angeles Co, in Covina specifically, in 1964. Let me know and we'll see where we can go from here. Cindy H Cindy, Yes, MacGregor was Edith's married name and Cockayne was her maiden name. This is the first solid nibble I've gotten on grandma. As I've said before, my Dad never asked questions, so what little I know comes from conversations my mother had with Edith who was her mother-in-law. I have Edith's date of death as July 10, 1964. I just mailed a request for the certificate so maybe in a few weeks I'll have that to add to my files. Thanks for you're help. This is getting exciting! Sheila shegrim@aol.com

Bunny Hello, I live in St. Louis, Missouri and saw on the local news tonight that there is a BRIDGETON MEMORIAL PARK - 1843 - 1963 ( North St. Louis) that is looking for persons with family buried there. The airport is being expanded and they are going to move the CEMETERY. Is there a way to get this message to as many listers as possible in a short amount of time? Can you help!

    1. [NEWGEN] Don't be a loser....VOTE!
    2. Dr. Bill
    3. Dear NEWGEN friend, I'm helping an online campaign to encourage people to vote, called VotePledge.org. Can you help? I'm fed up with hearing that my vote doesn't matter. By not voting, we get exactly what we deserve -- politicians elected by money rather than people. I, for one, am exercising my franchise. I will vote. And I encourage you to vote. But you can do even more. And it's easy. To pledge, go to: http://www.votepledge.org/index.html?r_id=a4oHAA%3D%3D%0A Through VotePledge, you can add your name to this simple, non-partisan, confidential pledge. Then use VotePledge.org to encourage your friends and colleagues to do the same. VotePledge.org will help pledgers by providing information on voter registration and absentee ballots. They'll also tell you how many pledges result from your work in spreading the word. Plenty is at stake on November 7th -- a new President, congressional leadership, the Supreme Court. Nothing could be more important than this simple act of announcing your personal commitment to democracy. To act, go to http://www.votepledge.org/index.html?r_id=a4oHAA%3D%3D%0A It takes just a minute. Your privacy is guaranteed. Makes no difference what your Party affiliation is, lets show the world we care enough to vote. Dr. Bill - William E. Fox Bill@Dr-Fox.Com WebSite {http://www.dr-fox.com}

    3. I have offered myself as an adviser on English genealogy, but so > far nobody seems to want to ask me anything! > Ok Roy - But no yelling - this'll give you think - My family moved all over UK in the 1800's - how do I find out which ones are mine? My grandmother's maiden name was Mournian here in the US but I found her father as Mourning in Scotland and all kinds of variations in different locations...And, to make things more difficult, there appear to be other people in the same areas at the same times with similar names, are they all family? 3. Here are some of my problem relation: BRYAN- what I know- her name was Anna (Annie) Bryan-according to census records she was born in Pennsylvania on 9-18-1838, she married Louis Yaus on 10-28-1868 in Tuscarwas County Ohio. I have a picture of her and then one that his marked as her brother John. She died 7-16-1883 . FORRESTER- first name unknown, he married Phebe Swaney (not positive on the spelling here--this is the way my Great Grandmother spelled it--her Mother's name is possibly Hanna)--they either married in Ohio or Indiana-I haven't been able to find the marriage yet. Phebe and this Forrester had one son Robert Thomas Forrester who was born June 14, 1843 in Lawrenburg, Indiana. Sometime between 1843 and 1858--this man died according to notes my great grandmother wrote out. I am not sure where he died--as Phebe had roots in Ohio and I can't find records of them in Indiana so far. In 1858 Phebe married Samuel Darbyshire in Mercer County Illinois and Robert Thomas was with her. From census records it shows that Robert Thomas' father was born in Scotland. Any help would be appreciated.. I do have a CD census of Hamilton County Iowa 1900 if someone needs a look up. Mary
