Hi all - I just remembered to download my monthly update for my virus detection software and thought I would send you a reminder to do the same thing. For those of you who don't already do this on a regular basis, this is an urgent message to ask you to set up a monthly routine for yourself. New computer viruses are created each day. Your virus protection software is only useful to you if it is kept current and up-to-date with all of the newly discovered virus signatures. Updates are free for you to download and install. Norton Anti-Virus users can download updates from Symantec at: http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html McAfee VirusScan users can download updates at: http://download.mcafee.com/updates/updates.asp Successful surfing, Cyndi

Okay its been a year since I did this in Outlook Express and I cannot seem to get it to take. I think I am doing all the sets but must be missing one. I have joined a very active list, and want all the email from them to go to a new folder I made. I have my NewGen emails going to a NewGen folder. But I dont know why they dont move. Can some one walk me through this with baby steps again! Thanks Sue Ellen "My brain is NOT missing, I know it's backed up on a floppy someplace"
I am not sure if I have sent this to the list before. It is done in Counties and there are several towns that no longer exist. This might be a starting point as well as there are Biographies on many people Carol http://hometown.aol.com/rprost/kansas.html PS one for Neb. if anyone wants the addy for it, please let me know
I thought this worthwhile to pass onto you NewGeners. It's too bad we need to be on guard, constantly, because of things like this. Reproduction Fee Schedule Proposal - updated August 25, 2000 http://www.nara.gov/genealogy/#1 NARA publishes proposed rule on reproduction fee schedule. NARA published a proposed rule in the April 25, 2000, Federal Register to revise its fee schedule for reproduction of records in its custody. We have been reviewing all of the comments on the proposed rule and will issue a final rule this fall. The new fee schedule will "NOT" go into effect on September 1, as we originally proposed. When the final rule is published, there will be a 30-day waiting period before it becomes effective. We will post notices in our research rooms and on the NARA web site when the final rule is published. We will also provide announcements to the list serves and organizations that we notified for the proposed rule. We will post updated information here when it becomes available.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for your kind words of encouragement and your prayers. Since I 'spoke' with you and requested prayer, I have had an offer for help from a pharmacist who is very knowledgeable, nice to talk with over the phone, the wife of the head pharmacist where I work, but I have never met the lady. She offered to help me on her own time without charge and I know this is a direct answer to prayer. Also, we who are taking the test in this area are now scheduled 2 study sessions and this will also be a really big help. The frustration level is dropping already, and I truly thank God for that. Thanks again to all of you who wrote with encouraging words. They mean so much to me! Sara
