If you log on to the National Football League's Web site on Tuesday, October 24 (the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness Day), and click on the "NFL For Her" link on the left-hand side of the page, the NFL will donate US$5 for every page view, up to $50,000, to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This is a one day thing -- you have to visit the NFL for Her section on Tuesday, October 24th -- but this is a great way for you to do something about breast cancer with just a click of your mouse.

This may be of interest, I found this library site, it is a pay site. $30 per year, and it has a lot of the history books that you can buy on cd from Heritage Quest online to read as a subscriber. There is a full list of the books they have and it says they add 10 to 20 more a month. There is also a sample book that you can read before subscribing. Beat in the egg and the vanilla extract. Combine the dry ingredients and beat into the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by large spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, or 10 to 12 minutes for a crispier cookie. Makes 12 to 15 large cookies.

For the new and not so new, I had to share this with you. This is what family history is all about! I am pleased to say they are my fifth cousins who are now going to meet for the first time.
