If you log on to the National Football League's Web site on Tuesday, October 24 (the NFL's Breast Cancer Awareness Day), and click on the "NFL For Her" link on the left-hand side of the page, the NFL will donate US$5 for every page view, up to $50,000, to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. This is a one day thing -- you have to visit the NFL for Her section on Tuesday, October 24th -- but this is a great way for you to do something about breast cancer with just a click of your mouse.
There is a setting in windows that is set to disconnect from the internet after 5 minutes. I have looked everywhere and cannot find how to remove this setting. It has only been present for the last two weeks and not before. Please help. Thanks Rose

This may be of interest, I found this library site, it is a pay site. $30 per year, and it has a lot of the history books that you can buy on cd from Heritage Quest online to read as a subscriber. There is a full list of the books they have and it says they add 10 to 20 more a month. There is also a sample book that you can read before subscribing. For the new and not so new, I had to share this with you. This is what family history is all about! I am pleased to say they are my fifth cousins who are now going to meet for the first time. Plus I had a wonderful visit with a first cousin of my mother Sunday. We had not seen each other since the early 1970's and he looks so much like his father, who was my great uncle. What fun it was to have him stop in and share stories, with us. We now have some new memories to add to our family stories. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sue Ellen Ash <db1753@dragonbbs.com> To: <CAVE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, October 16, 2000 11:41 PM Subject: [CAVE] Another connection made!! > Well, I just had to come on the list to tell you of the exciting > CAVE connection this week. Dear Roy Perhaps you can help me find my grandfather William Frank supposedly born in Stays (Staithes?) Yorkshire in 1851. I found one family in the area where mother and sibling were born in Staithes but there is a baby on that census who isn't him so unless they were very close in age it isn't his family. I have been too busy to do any research lately but should be able to get back into it soon.
