Dr. Bill (Bill@Dr-Fox.Com) . ----- Original Message ----- From: <Aadcmom@aol.com> To: <NEWGEN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 04, 2000 10:01 PM Subject: [NEWGEN] Most Wanted : Yes I have given up on my most wanted!! Can't get anywhere with them. : GGrandfather Asa B. WILSON born 1849 in Indiana and died Jan 23, 1920 : Indianapolis Indiana. I have tried all that I know to find his parents and : siblings. He married Mahulda Coffey in 1872 Shelby Co. Indiana. They : lived there until 1889 moving to Marion Co. Indianapolis. His death : certificate didn't list his parents. On the census of 1880 he listed his : birth as Indiana and that his father was Kentucky and his mother born in : Indiana. That is about all I can find. : Also my Grandmother : Lula Inda MILLS born Jun 1890 in Indiana. She went by : Louise Mills also. I can't find any birth record for her. She married in : 1909 Indianapolis Walter G. Wilson, had three children 1910, 1912, and 1914. : Then about 1916 she left the children and Indianapolis. At one time told she : may have gone to Chicago and remarried but no records. Also supposed to have : died sometime about 1945. I can't any records of a divorce from W. G. : Wilson. The only record I can find is the marriage certificate for 1909 and : that is where I found her birth date. : I have exhausted all that I know to check. Just can't find even one thing. : So have decided that I'm at the end of the road for them. I guess they : didn't want to be found. I have no one to ask information and there is no : paper links to even give me a hint. : Cheri : : : ==== NEWGEN Mailing List ==== : THE GENEALOGIST NEVER TAKES WITHOUT SHARING.

    3. OK OK OK Dr. Bill. I feel guilty for lurking so long. Here is my problem . Looking for Daniel Switzer b about 1780 in Baden-Baden, Germany per the 1810 census. I am told that just because it says Baden-Baden, Germany that it isn't necessarily so because of country boundries and etc. Ayway , I found him (I think) on a muster roll in the War of 1812 . Dates & locations are near enough but can't verify. On that same muster I found several names that were the same as his wife. Now, I can't find any records of this particular Regiment and just don't know where to go from here. Can you tell I am confused????? 1. [NEWGEN] Consider
    2. The night is chilly, the sky is dark Not a good night for a walk in the park The politicians have bored me to tears It happens like this, every four years So rather that sit here and cry in my drink Or retire to the kitchen and clean up the sink I think I will once more call on my friends The members of NEWGEN whose faith never ends And ask them once more to give me a hand To stop what there doing and please understand The dearly departed they desperately seek The ones that they look for week after week May only be a few keystrokes away So why postpone it another day Try to remember why you originally subscribed And renew that interest without being bribed Maybe one person will crash through that wall And share the joy that they feel with us all And renew our hope that we too will succeed Come on everyone....do your good deed. Dr. Bill (Bill@Dr-Fox.Com) .

    3. Hi Bill, Would you send me your address/phone number again. Just got a new computer and the address list I imported still has the Walsh address. My new "child" is great fun, once I get my programs reinstalled. It has: 1 GHz, 128RM; 60gb, DVD and CD-RW. If I knew what all that stuff meant, would really feel smart. They're coming the end of Nov to hook me up to a DSL service. I'll be so fast, no one will be able to keep up with me. Going to post some of the pictures from my vacation. Sent both sets to Phil on the 24th, still hadn't gotten them yesterday, and he and his girl friend are going to fix up a nice photo album for me. Just have to write and let them know which day we went to the various places .. then they have to figure out which picture goes with the day.
