Thank you Betty. At the rate he's growing I'm sure he will be. Hasn't gained any "extra" weight but did put on 2" at his check-up day before yesterday. Antoinette, Congratulations on the new twig of the family tree. From the sound of things, he will be a full fledged branch in no time. Betty
Antoinette, I am somewhat ashamed of you for not showing any pride in your new GGrandson....shame on you! <LOL> Congratulations and may he prosper. Dr. Bill
Welcome back, Betty. I've been sort of silent lately, had the durn .vbs worm virus and had to have that cleaned up and that has been the past couple weeks. Prior to that I was at Twentynine Palms Marine Corp Base from Nov 5 - Nov 17 awaiting the "pending" arrival of my first great grandson (have 4 great granddaughters) who decided to wait until I left before making in his appearance. Guess he didn't think he needed to be more "spoiled" <grin>. He was born November 19, 2000 at 5:29 p.m. (and that was prox 3 hours after I got home) and weighed in at a whopping 9 pds 12-1/2 ozs and 20-1/2" long. That might be alright but my granddaughter is a mere 5'2" (if that) and a whopping wet 95 pounder. Daddy is a strappling 6 footer. He joins sister Victoria Antoinette (Tori) who turned 16 months on Nov 7. He has been named Ethan Thomas and is gorgeous (yes, even for a boy). Blue eyes, and blonde fuzzy hair. Gonna be a heart throb, no ands, ifs or buts about it. Are we proud or are we not. These are my daughter Sabrina's grandchildren. You will remember my daughter Sabrina as the one with the two inoperable tumors on her brain. She is doing very well considering all that. And we do have all our friends at NEWGEN to thank for all the prayers and well wishes that were sent to her and to our families. Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a most prosperous New Year ever. Antoinette (and her "whole entire" family) waughtel@oz.net Will still be a bit slow until after the Holidays ~ gonna have a houseful this year!!! Jean, Remind me sometime in May as to who you are searching for, as we go North for the summer and I can see what I can find in Franklin, Vt. Just a hop and a skip away from where we have our cottage. Betty Jean Coburn wrote: > Betty, what a nice offer. I am still researching COBURN name. Hi Sandra: I was wondering if you would do a look-up in the Egle's Notes. Am looking for any reference to the surname Keech or Keach. I appreciate anything you may be able to do for me. Mary Lorraine (Ontario Canada) For anyone interested, I have the new Familytree Maker 35 cds set and will do lookups on those cds.A discription of the 35 cds can be found at http://www.genealogylibrary.com I also have Egle's Notes and Queries that covers Central and some counties in Northern and Southern Pennsylvania, this covers years from 1700's thru 1800's. Family Tree Maker has it as Family Archives cd # 19. Sandra sandarr@msn.com ==== NEWGEN Mailing List ==== WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU THANKED CYNDI FOR HER MARVELOUS LIST

I am kind of new at this so please bear with me. You can laugh at me tho. Lord, knows after trying to find MY family, I can use some laughs.:) I am searching for a Thomas (See, your already grinning-- or groaning). This Thomas may have came into Philadelphia aboard ship from Wales in the 1830"s. I don't know his first name. The only info I have is he had a son Jacob b. 1837, maybe PA, also a son Jasper b. 1847(my gfather). We don't know where they were born. The name Jasper seems to come down thru the family. Know Jasper's wifes name was Nancy J. Cooper b. 1848. Nancy's mother and father were Hugh and Elizabeth (Desper) Cooper. GGma Elizabeth Cooper died in PA in 1903. Her home was in Lebanon, PA. So that is a PA connection. We have an idea (brilliant, huh!) the Coopers, Despers and Thomas may all have a PA connection. There is no way anyone will believe I put this query in here. Seriously , I hope someone can give me a lead. Hopefully not to the looney bin, altho this is driving me there. Thanks for any response. NaDean
