FLYNN, John: born 1967 in Illinois. He married IDA REYNOLDS in Krebs, I.T. in 1892. They had two children, Early and Pearly FLYNN. He married Laura Susanne MILLER (my ggrandmother) June 10, 1898. They had three children, Bud, Buster and Ola. He died Aug/Nov. of 1909 near Coalgate, Okla. and is buried in the Nixon Cemetery. WILSON, ???, father of Loyd, born 1901 and Noble born 1906. He was married to Ella Agnus RELEFORD. They lived near Noble, Oklahoma, in Cleveland Co. After WILSON departure she married W.A. WILLIAMS and they moved the family to Trousdale, Oklahoma. where Mr. Williams ran a cotton gin I believe.

If by any chance you descend from this couple then we are very distantly related, since Agnes Shackleton's grandparents were JOHN SHACKLETON and AGNES BAKE, who married at Skipton on Christmas Day, 1713. There is a prodigious pedigree of the Yorkshire Longstroth/Langstroths in Ancestral File, which there is probably a germ of truth in but I never believe anything in AF until I have checked every detail for myself! So if there is any connection I would be pleased to hear from you. BTW, I note you also mentioned interests in "Somersetshire". You may care to know that the county is normally known simply by its short version of Somerset. It is one of those English counties that occasionally have a "shire" added - like Devon/Devonshire and Dorset/Dorsetshire - but in my opinion this was largely a gentrification by Jane Austen! The suffix "shire" is normally only added to a county which has a county town of the name i.e. York(shire). Dear Dr. Bill: I agree whole heartedly with Cyndi on how to post your ancestors that we are researching. It tells so much more about who you are looking for, the time frame and where they were born and where they ended up. As I noticed also there are several common names and I have two of them also so knowing where yours came from and went to and getting other listers to do the same helps everyone on whether they could contact the person who listed them. Please everyone post not only the last name but first name, time frame and where they came from and where the ended up if you know this info. It makes it so much easier to be able to help each other.
