Don't know what to do. I have info that would be helpful to another on our list. I got it from a researcher who said that he is not at liberty to furnish the name of the person he got it from because they were writing a book. The info is from recognized sources but is compiled is a particular way. What do I do? Don't want to do anything wrong or even something that I *feel* may be wrong. Advice please ! Jackie
Thank you for that info<G> I will now check the inside not the outside. Gloria ----- Original Message ----- > It is inside! (grin) > > ----- Original Message -----

Anyone out there have any KLAUSes ???? Searching for: KLAUS, Nicholas (surname was Anglo-ized to Claus) born pre 1400s somewhere in Germany. Very unusual Family Tree due to the fact that he has NO KNOWN NATURAL DESCENDANTS! Only a large number of unofficially adopted children whom he saw only once per year to give them toys and candy. Some genealogist studying this surname claim that he was canonized. Married another German native woman of unknown name or parentage, as she only went by Frau Klaus (or Mrs. Klaus). Occupation: Officially undetermined but it is known that he kept a large herd of deer-like animals and that he employed a large number of minority workers that were titled: Helpers. Any information you may have on this Surname or individual would be most appreciated. I am VERY NEW to genealogy and would appreciate some help with this. I've been looking for this one for quite some time.
I need to go back to grammar school<G>..Sorry about that, it should have been "AN" Aptiva 486. I have smacked my fingers tee-hee located on a Aptiva 486 pc?
Would anyone know where the battery is located on a Aptiva 486 pc? I am giving the 486 to the Hardin County Genealogical Society, but I would like to fix that tiny problem. Thanks for any help you can give! Gloria jgmott@wcoi.com
Has anyone ran across websites of early Theater touring groups out of Chicago and New Orleans, or Denver. My great Uncle had a singing duet act with another guy in the early 1900's. They started out singing and playing at weddings, parties, etc, then joined up as "The Serenaders" in abt 1910. I found a piece of the stationery with their photo on it. In 1917 they were in LA where Uncle Lester died of the flu. I have a few letters telling his where abouts before this. I dont know what circuit they were with but he mentioned trying for the Orpheum Circuit. Any clues would be appreciated on perhaps finding some flyers of coming events at the Opera Houses. I know reading old papers I have seen this listed when a group was coming to town. Sue Ellen
