    3. Hi Bill........... Did you see if it put an entry in your puter...........??? SOCK32 DLL is being used by the system, the worm will be able to modify this file. Thus, in this situation, the worm will add registry key to one of the following subtrees....... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce HKEY_CURRENT_USERS\Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce They appear to be the same but that's what I printed out............. If there isn't an entry, you must have gotten rid of the virus............ 3. I had Norton and it did not do a thing for me, so downloaded and installed Inoculate and it found it although I did hire a guy to come and do it for me. I am worse than a "dummy". 3. I use Switchboard quite a bit to find people, businesses and their maps are better than Yahoo's and MapQuests. The link below gives a user-friendly way to use Switchboard. http://www.obitcentral.com/switchboard.htm Bill Obituary Central http://www.obitcentral.com

    2. I rec, the HaHaHa virus a couple of times and thanks to list I didn't open it. Even tho Web TV isn't affected by the virus" I don't want to take a chance of passing one on to computer users. I just forward them to Spam@corp.webtv.net. I DON"T open anything that I don't know where it comes from. And never respond to any mail that has "TO: all receipients and has " to be removed from this list, click on link below". All they are trying to do is find out if they have a live addy. I know most of you know about this but I hadn't heard about it and made the mistake of clicking to be removed, I got loads of spam for weeks and sent them all to Spam. corp or to Abuse@webtv.net. If it has yahoo or one of the other ISP's forward it to them. Otherwise contact your ISP to see where to forward this to. We may not be able to stop it but we can slow it down. Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

    2. Steve & Helen
    3. Dr Bill, Your comments were in order, it is a pity that people like Roy cannot see the beauty in the "Story" regardless of whether it is true or not. There is so much hate in the world and killing in the name of one religion or another it is great to be able to escape even for a few minutes and travel to a place that has changed from hate to happiness. I hope all the members of this list find their moment this Christmas with someone they love. Gloria, Thank you from one who enjoyed your story. Best wishes to all Steve

    3. Sorry, y'all, I wasn't trying to set you up or tease you. My grandparents' story would lose something in translation. But you have made me aware of one aspect I hadn't considered - how to translate this to a meaningful story to someone who didn't know them - i.e., later generations. Hmmm. Back to the drawing board. Or should that be word processor? Cindy in Southern California

Couldn't be repaired so quarantined it and deleted it. I am completely clear...... Ran a virus scan and came up clear......... 3. I've had 3 or 4 of those recently but deleted them "pronto" as had heard of it. More than what I knew 3 or 4 weeks ago when I opened that .vbs and had a worm virus. Good luck and a quick return. One cannot be toooo careful any more it seems.
