Thank you all for your well-wishes. You folks are simply the best! I get to see my brand-new nephew tomorrow, and I am taking advantage of the fact that the new mommy's parents are at the hospital to get some of their info from them. Got the family group sheets and the digital camera by the door! Lisa (my sis-in-law) is going to have a tough time producing more than a couple of generations, though, most of her family on both sides are still in Europe. Maybe her folks will remember more than she does. Little Zachery needs to have a family tree! Wendy www.DianasLegacy.net
I think it is VERY topical.....congratulations and may God Bless the baby and his family. Bill ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wendy A. B. Last weekend was Maryland, this weekend I'm attending the TPCGS seminar in Tacoma (http://www.rootsweb.com/~watpcgs/activity.htm), next weekend I actually get to stay home, the weekend after that I'm in Ohio again (http://www.ngsgenealogy.org/confcolumbus.htm), then in Virginia for the NGS board meeting. I've been on the go since the first part of September. After Nov.14th, I'll be home with no travelling until next February. Yay! I picked up a nasty cold and raspy voice, sore throat somewhere last weekend. So, I haven't been feeling my best. Also, Evan keeps me hopping as always. He started Kindergarten this year, so we've had an adjustment period to get through getting used to school schedules and a new routine. One of the benefits is that I get 3 1/2 hours to myself each morning! The part that bothers me is that my baby seems to be gone and a big boy has taken his place. Last, I'm working on a deadline to get a book done by the end of the year. So, I'm a bit quieter than normal on the mailing lists. Sorry! Off to work on the site a bit before bed. Cyndi

Dolores Kinsey I found the answer to that at the Rootsweb URL http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/Miscellaneous/NEWGEN.html which states as follows: NEWGEN-L Topic: created to assist those who are quite new to genealogy. The list offers how-to's for everything from selecting software for your recordkeeping to figuring out why your computer is misbehaving. For the really new genealogist, a Mentor will be assigned to help you, not only on the list but also in finding your way to the many excellent sources on the Internet. ~~~~~~~~<>~~~~~~~~~ Woody
