Hello Robert Abigail BRITTON, youngest d/o Stephen BRITTON & Lydia SHAW, Wakefield, was b ca 1848. She married Sharp A BAKER 30 Jun 1872. The marriage is transcribed in the Car. Co. Marr. Reg. vol B, #238, compiled by Geo Hayward. The entry lists her name as Alice J. BRITTON. The witnesses were John and Curgerl HAMILTON (Curgerl would have been Abigail's sister Curzeza BRITTON). It would be advised to see the original of this marriage entry to check on names. Abigail's marriage to Sharp BAKER was also recorded in the family Bible of her uncle Benjamin BRITTON or BRITTAIN. Abigail died during childbirth 23 Dec 1872 and was buried in Wakefield. The gravestone has a broken top but close examination of the broken edge of the stone will reveal the bottoms of some of the letters from Sharp Baker's name. From a biographical article on Sharp BAKER, Reformed Baptist minister > Mr. Baker knew many sorrows.
