This was from the Fredericton Gleaner Sat Nov 18, 2006 LEWIS, MARY FRANCES "FRAN" The passing of Mary Frances "Fran" (Weaver) Lewis, of Fredericton, wife of the late George W. Lewis, occurred on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Roy and Ellen (O'Brien) Weaver. Fran was employed by the Department of Health for 20 years in Accounts Receivable. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, shopping, going to exercise classes and most of all her friends. Survived by one daughter, Sandra Hagerman of Fredericton; two grandsons, Robbie of Grand Prairie, AB and Pierre Salesse of St. Catherines, PQ; one sister, Doris (Donald) MacDonald of Ottawa, ON and several nieces and nephews. Although there will be no visitation, a Memorial Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 2 pm. Interment will be held in the Hermitage Cemetery, Fredericton, NB. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com.
