Freeman John Fowler was born in West Saint John 21 Dec 1893. His mother, Mrs. John Wellesley Fowler, was living at 53 Church Avenue in Fairville (now part of W. Saint John) when Freeman was killed in Belgium in November, 1917. The online record of his death indicates that his mother was Gonila Perry Fowler. Is this family on the 1901 or 1911 census? Hi Bill, John Wellesley Fowler married Gonila Perry 19 Oct 1881 John, b. 3 Nov 1851, s/o Gabriel J Fowler and Sarah Ann Bonnell. John died 26 Dec 1915, Fairville, Saint John Co., NB Gonila, b. 15 Apr 1856, d. 15 Dec 1926 She is d/o Stephen Perry & Lucy Alward.
