FOSHAY died at his home in Hopewell (Albert Co.) on Sunday May 1st. Mr. Foshay was born in Queens Co. in 1824. When about 17 years of age he was converted, baptized by Rev. David Crandall and united with the Baptist church at Norton (Kings Co.). He began to preach when he reached his 24th year and spent the following year in Albert Co. in connection with Rev. John Francis. The following year he was ordained pastor of the Harvey Church and continued in this relation five years. After this he was two years pastor of Hopewell church. His next pastorate was at Pugwash, N.S. where he remained two years. From this place he went to Milton, N.S. where his health broke down. Subsequently he held short pastorates at Hantsport and Gaspareaux, N.S. and at Summerside, P.E.I. In the last five years he has resided at his home in Hopewell.
