ToWhomItMayInterest: A request that I sent to Walter S Mossberg of the the WSJ newspaper, a computer Guru of note. Dear Sir; I use a fair number per year of Memorex CD-RW (4x,700MB,80min); They were recommended to me by the store clerk & represented by him as ''the usual, they're all about the same". I buy them in packs of 10; and 1 & sometimes 2 of these CD's/pack will fail while in use; my computer program (XP, Home; Dell) will tell me when they fail. Erasing & rewrite never restores them.
