Thanks for that Jeremy. Not sure if it helps as yet. It is a bit too "recent". My main interest is in finding out anything about my great-great-grandfather, Thomas D'Walden Howard, or any of his immediate family, e.g. his father was William Howard, died 1888, his brother was William Brunswick Howard, his nephew was Alfred De Walden Howard. All of these would have been in the mid to late 1800's. Having said that, should I ever get anywhere with them, then your Anne may well have descended from one of them (not Thomas, his children were all in England, and are mostly accounted for).
