    3. Jean and List - A few weeks ago I ordered an incorrect death cert from the UK. This gentleman died from "a Visitation of God", he was 86 and died 1845. This was the first time I had seen this cause of death. I was curious and googled it to find it could mean either unknown causes or old age. I researched this gentleman with the same name as my ancestor and found he was not only elderly but lived alone. I assume they found him dead so this term was used.
