Hi Wayne, I have no evidence to identify Elizabeth Wheaton's father, but the geography suggests she was part of this family somehow. If she died in 1900, then I have a problem. Any chance the Elizabeth who d. in 1900 was nee Burke? I've done some guessing to make the data fit what I had. I have only one Nathan DeLong in this generation and have him m1 21 Feb., 1856 to Elizabeth Wheaton & I'm guessing he was the same Nathan who m2 6 Jan., 1863 perhaps at Gagetown to "MIss" Elizabeth Burke, both of Hampstead. The LDS reading of the 1881 Woodstock census shows Nathan & Elizabeth, both age 53, have liv. with them a John (29) and Ward A. (4) "Bark." The logical explanation is that John Bark was John Burk and probably a nephew of Nathan's wife. I was sent this Elizabeth's birthdate that was taken from the 1900 N.H. census. Elizabeth was b. in June, 1832. That census was taken before the Sep. 1900 death date you have. I don't have access to the US census, so I have been unable to see if she was living in 1910. Their son, Frederick, was with them in 1881, aged 17. I had him b. in Feb., 1864, which agrees with the 1900 census. He m. Cynthia _______ in NH and had Edith 1898 and Lela 1900. I also ask in my notes: "Did he die in MA?" Bill Wayne DeLong wrote: > Is this Elizabeth Wheaton - the same one that married Nathaniel DeLong Feb > 21,1856. Hi, I have Nathan b. 6/6/1829, d. 4/27/1901 Bartlett, NH, he died of Paris Green Poisoning. There is a question on who poisoned him. They used that poison on potatoes. He married Elizabeth Rathburn (Burke) 1/6/1863. They had a son Frederick who married Cynthia Twombly. They are in the 1900 census in Bartlett living with Frederick & Cynthia in Bartlett, NH, USA but Elizabeth died in 1900 and Nathan died in 1901. The John Bark (Burke) was Joseph Burkes and Elizabeth Rathburns son and Ward A. Bark (Burke) was her grandson. It was an error in spelling.
