Caution when using this site--a lot of the data contained are from sources that are not necessarily well-researched. There are numerous errors contained in these data on my families; they have been copied from sources that are not reliable resources, such as, LDS CD's etc. e.g. -- Joseph Rockwell did not marry Mary of Matilda Dickinson; he m. Maria Dickinson (d/o Arden Dickinson & Sally/Sarah Campbell); he did not die March 30, 1868 but more like 1830 or so. Maria remarried in 1833 to Dennis Hale and had children by him. When Dan Johnson was still alive I paid for his extraction service of the NB papers for the name Rockwell--there is no mention of Joseph Rockwell in any newspapers after 1830. It is disheartening to see these same "facts" reprinted over and over when they are inaccurate. So don't use this site as a source when preparing your family tree--more like a guide, ok? -- polly shaw

Many thanks Polly, for pointing this out. I wouldn't have known, but would certainly have checked to see if there were sources mentioned. And as always with such sites ....
