Depending on the browser that you use, Internet Explorer, SeaMonkey, Opera, Firefox, most of them allow you to fix how web pages appear on your screen. ie. Firefox Tools>Options>Content>Colors and UNCHECK the box next to "allow pages to choose their own colors" I have mine set to white pages, black type, and I also choose the font size to Arial 14 so I can read it without squinting.
