In the 1851 census of Saint John,NB there is the following MOORE family. MOORE p. 143 Dukes/Queens Ward Laurance.......H......57......Irish.......1824......Shoemaker Jane..............W....47.......Irish.......1824 William...........S....17.......Native Mary..............D.....15......Native David.............S.....11......Native Joseph...........S......9......Native I found "Laurance" in 1830 as a guarantor on a couple of marriage bonds. Other than that he is unheard from. I checked the land grants, newspapers, vital stats, cemetery records in Saint John ( except Fernhill) but found nothing. Would anyone know "anything" about him?
