Hi Kevin I have King family that I am trying to track, but they were from Mactaquac. They show up in several censuses, from 1851 ( Queensbury parish). The family was led by Femer King, french, NB native, age 61,farmer married to Bridget, Irish age 71. Two children Illegible( a son age 33) and Mary Ann daughter age 20. They lived a few doors down from my ggggrandparents, William and Harriet( Wallace) Donaldson. By the 1881 census Mary Ann, farmer, was listed and in her house was my grandfather William Donaldson, although the relationship is not explained. 1881 census Queensbury parish p 52 line 17: 16 237 255 King Mary F 56 NB R Cath. French female Farmer 17 237 255 Donaldson Wm M 68 Ireland Presb Ch Can Scotch Stone mason W My grandmother moved away to Boston in 1884. I would be interested, if this is your family, on hearing more about them. I am curious about Mary Ann and my grandfather and any relationship the families may have had over time. Hope this helps Beverley Clarkson On 3/12/07, Kevin King <kingnh@comcast.net> wrote: > > ROY: Am descendant of Jean ROY dit Laliberte > Looking for any direct mail descendants to join the ROY DNA project > > KING: name changed from ROY to KING early 1800s and am interested in > locating other descendants of Joseph KING and Elizabeth GODIN from > Hanwell, Kingsclear, NB > > MCCLUSKEY: James MCCLUSKEY m.
